1)         ENTRIES: CIC1* - $300.00, Preliminary - $180, Training - $170, Pre-Training - $160, Entry - $150, Pre Entry - $140. Please add CE Levy and Drug Fee all divisions (note - CIC1* drug fee is $45). All divisions add $10.00 AHTA Year-end awards / Championship Levy.  No fax entries will be permitted.   REFUNDS:  Entry & stabling before CD, less $30 administration fee, no phone withdrawals accepted - cancellation by mail or email only.  After CD, with vet or medical certificate, less $30. Late/Change fee $30. Negative Coggins Test not required. Cheques payable to Cochrane Horse Trials Committee.

2)         TIME SCHEDULE: June 25, 12 pm - office open, CIC1* First Horse Inspection 1 pm - 5 pm. June 26, 8 am - Dressage; Cross Country - 1 pm. Official course walks - time TBA.  June 27, CIC1* 2nd Horse Inspection - 8 am followed by Show Jumping.  Starting times available from website  or by phone June 24 between 7 - 10 pm from Secretary.

3)         OFFICIALS: TD: Colette Sands CDs: XC - Steve Buckman. JT: Brenda Edwards. JUDGES: Dressage - Janice Linnan, Lorraine Hill, Chris Collins. Jumping - Doug Orr.  GROUND JURY: Janice Linnan, Lorraine Hill, TBA.  FEI Veterinary Delegate:  Dr. Karen Nyrop.  Steward: Diana Dunlop.

4)         STABLING: $65 per stall per event. All Stabling on grounds - new facility. Please mail in stabling forms with entry forms, payment made to Cochrane Horse Trials Committee.   Payment may be on same cheque as entry fees.

5)         DRESSAGE: CIC1* - FEI 2009 CIC1* Test A. P – 2005 CE Preliminary HT Test; T - Training Test B; PT – 2005 CE PT Test B; Entry & Pre Entry – 2005 CE Entry Test B.  Arenas: CIC1*/P/T: 20x60; PT/E/PE: 20x40m. Sand footing.

6)         CROSS COUNTRY: CIC1*/P - 3000m@520mpm; T -2500m@425mpm; PT - 1500m@375mpm; E - 1400m@300mpm; PE - 900m@300mpm. TERRAIN: no major hills, spectator friendly, some open galloping with new jumps on course in 2008.  Course paths have been aerated.

7)         AWARDS:  Horse Trials Prizes to 3rd all divisions, ribbons to 6th place.  Presentations after each division. Results will be listed: www.cochranehorsetrials.com.

8)         ACCOMMODATIONS:  Bow River Inn (403) 932-7900, Best Western (403) 932-1410, Travel Lodge (403) 932-5588. Camping on site - no hookups. Accommodation choices are available at: www.cochranehotels.worldweb.com.

9)         DIRECTIONS: Cochrane Agricultural Grounds - from traffic lights at Hwy #22  and Highway 1A, go West on Highway 1A approximately .5 km to Event site on right. Cross-country parking access can be at the north top entrance off Gas Plant Rd.  Location map on Cochrane website.

10)        OTHER INFORMATION: Vet on grounds June 26-27. Medical on grounds for SJ & XC. Vet & Farrier on call both days. Concession on grounds. Competitor Dinner – June 26 at 6:30pm , Please indicate intention of attendance on entry form.  Additional dinner tickets $10 each.

The  new stable is located at   51.203N 114.494W (1 km west of the traffic light and north on the Ag Society Arena road).
